RURAL ELDERLY CARE IN DENMARK
ORGANISATIONAL TRANSFORMATION
The Danish population is ageing rapidly at an unprecedented rate and these demographic changes will have profound implications for elderly care system in Denmark.
The future challenges are already starting to manifest themselves and this project takes it point of departure in the rural area of Denmark, in a small town called Hjørring where the elderly service in Taars provide home care for the elders in the rural area of Denmark.
This project was done though various workshops and interviews with stakeholders – yet also with the elders. The result is this report that summerises the research findings and focus on communicating the essential business transformation aspects.
